Taking Astronomy to underprevileged is our social mission.
Galileo Telescope takes its social responsibilities very seriously. We have programmes specifically targeted to educating underprivileged children about the universe. Our social activities include gifting telescopes to schools and poor communities, organising free astronomy workshops and Ask an Astronomer, an educational programme for young enthusiasts.
One percent of every purchase made at Galileo Telescope goes towards taking astronomy to the underprivileged. Very soon our social activities will be held under the umbrella of the Galileo Foundation, a non-profit charity which is under formation
