GALILEO TELESCOPE (P) LTD - BUYER PROTECTION POLICY FOR WEBSITE PURCHASE:
We understand that customers buy products from our site purely on trust. We reciprocate this trust by taking responsibility for any dissatisfaction arising as a result of such purchases.
Galileo Telescope (P) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as GTPL) customers may return merchandise purchased from www.galileotelescope.com up to and including 7 (seven) days after receipt of merchandise for a full refund of the purchase price. The item needs to be returned in new, resalable condition with all original boxes and packing. A full refund will be given only if the product is returned in new condition, complete in its original packaging, with all warranty cards, accessories, manuals, etc. included. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
All returned goods must have a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. A credit note will be issued for the returned goods, which can be used for future purchases. Cash refunds will not be made.
No return will be accepted on opened, damaged or used items, software, or publications. While we take utmost care in packing the product to safeguard your interests, we cannot be held responsible for any damage during transit.
Returns will not be accepted after seven days without prior approval from the GTPL management. GTPL will work with customers who have special circumstances, especially with regard to gifts; yet, we reserve the right to refuse return after seven days of receipt of the product by the customer.
In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong item(s) from GTPL, please contact us by phone or e-mail and obtain an RGA number. Simply return the wrong item(s) after we send you the RGA number; GTPL will ship the correct item(s) to you at no additional cost.
Product Damaged During Shipment:
Customers should always inspect packages and their contents immediately after delivery. Shipping damages must be reported immediately to the carrier of the package. Inform Galileo Customer care that you have received damaged goods and are in communication with the carrier. GTPL will follow up with the carrier as well.
Customers should NEVER send damaged merchandise directly back to GTPL without the RGA number. GTPL will not accept any returned merchandise without an RGA number. We will always do our best to replace damaged goods as quickly as possible, but proper procedures must be followed in order to receive the replacement merchandise at no charge.
If you receive an item you believe to be defective, please contact GTPL via phone or e-mail. We will discuss the problem with you and will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible. Defective products fall under the domain of the manufacturer; GTPL will provide assistance and support in dealing with the manufacturer. Different manufacturers have different methods of handling defective products, and they usually undertake to repair or replace the item in a reasonable amount of time. GTPL's standard return policy applies if the item is returned for a refund.
